DYSPORT & BOTOX

Botox and Dysport are safe, effective treatments used to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, especially in areas like your forehead, around the eyes (crow’s feet), and between your eyebrows. Both are made from a purified protein that helps relax the muscles beneath your skin. When injected into specific areas, they stop the muscles from contracting as much, which helps prevent and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Think of it like giving your skin a little break from constant creasing!

  • Before any treatment, we always start with a personalized consultation. This is where we chat about your goals, examine the areas you'd like treated, and decide what will work best for your unique needs. We’ll also discuss how many units of Botox or Dysport you might need and explain the whole process so you feel completely comfortable.

What is Dysport/Botox?

It’s normal to experience mild bruising in the treated areas, but don’t worry—this is temporary! You may find that topical Arnica, which you can pick up at most health food stores, helps speed up the healing process.

  • For Botox & Dysport: It can take up to two weeks to see the full effects of your treatment, so be patient while the muscles gradually relax and the lines soften. Please wait the full two weeks before evaluating your results. We will schedule touch-ups for Botox at 2 weeks

  • Keep in mind that some natural muscle movement will remain after your treatment—our goal is to soften lines while maintaining subtle, natural facial expressions.

  • Remember, this treatment is temporary. The results may last about 3-4 months at first, but regular treatments can lead to longer-lasting results over time. We recommend following a treatment schedule every 3-4 months for the best, consistent outcomes.

What to Expect:

TREATMENT

  • Forehead: Botox can be used to smooth out lines on your forehead that show up when you raise your eyebrows.

  • Between the eyebrows (frown lines): It can help relax the muscles between your eyebrows, so you won’t have deep lines when you frown or concentrate.

  • Crow's feet (around the eyes): These are the little lines that appear at the corners of your eyes when you smile or squint. Botox helps make them softer.

  • Bunny lines (on the nose): Some people get wrinkles on the sides of their nose when they smile or scrunch their face. Botox can make these lines less noticeable.

  • Lips (lip flip): Botox can be used to gently lift the upper lip, making it look a little fuller without adding volume.

  • Chin: Sometimes the chin can look bumpy or dimpled, like an orange peel. Botox helps smooth it out.

  • Neck: Botox can relax tight muscles in the neck that can cause vertical bands or lines to appear.

These are some common areas where Botox can be used to relax muscles and soften lines, making your skin look smoother!

What areas can be treated?

  • Smooths out wrinkles: Botox helps relax the muscles that cause wrinkles, so your skin looks smoother and softer, like ironing out a shirt.

  • Stops new wrinkles from forming: By calming down certain muscles, Botox can stop wrinkles from getting worse as you make facial expressions, kind of like stopping a paper from folding.

  • Quick and easy: Getting Botox is really fast, usually taking just a few minutes, and there’s no need to rest afterward—you can get back to your day!

  • Makes you look more refreshed: Botox can help make your face look less tired by smoothing out areas where you might look worried or stressed, like your forehead or between your eyebrows.

  • Feels natural: Even though Botox helps smooth your skin, it doesn’t freeze your face. You can still make expressions like smiling or frowning, just without deep lines.
